Ok, so the Dead Parrot sketch won! That's one of my favorites. I also added a new video clip of The Funniest Joke in the World, one of the funniest! There is also a new poll, who is your favorite Monty Python Actor?

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Just updated the photo, and it is now Eric Idle. Tell me what you think and give me ideas for a new slideshow! Here is such a cool fact. Monty Python invented the three sided record. The sketch you heard depended on where the needle fell. How cool is that?

Hey, four days left on that poll! Tell me what you guys think on the sketches, slideshow, and ideas for quotes!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC IDLE!!!! Eric Idle, born on March 29, 1943, has played many memoriable characters for Money Python. Some of his best known characters are Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot, Arthur Nudge, and the Lumberjack Song in live versions.

Cool little fact here: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, and Eric Idle went to Cambridge University together, while Terry Jones and Michael Palin went to Oxford. I don't know about about Terry Gilliam... so I'll have to look that up. Anyway, I would love to hear from people who have seen Spamalot and get some feedback. I saw it two years ago and absolutly loved it! Give me feedback people!!!! And by the way, I made the poll longer so vote!

Just posted a new YouTube video. It's from Spamalot, a mix of Monty Python movies, especially Holy Grail. I posted the best song in the entire play, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, also from Life of Brian. I love the comments I got on the movie recomendations. As for people asking what my favorite part in Princess Bride is, I would have to say when Westly is taunting Prince Humperdinck (I think that's how you spell it) at the end. And in Men in Tights, I love the men in tights song. Feel free to post, and vote on the poll! 7 days left!

After reading some of your comments, I saw that a lot of you enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. That is my personal favorite Monty Python movie as well. If you liked Holy Grail, I would consider watching these movies too!:
The Princess Bride
Robin Hood: Men in Tights

These movies are full of hilarious scenes that kept me laughing for a really long time. Watch them and tell me what you think!

I love that people are posting comments. Give me feedback people!!!!! This is a cool fact: Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different was not a big hit at all. It wasn't until Monty Python and the Holy Grail came out that Monty Python started becoming a hit, especially in the United States. Keep on voting, and make sure you see all the clips before you vote!

Coolest story ever. A whole corner was closed off because of a suspicious looking object outside a pub, mistaken for a bomb. What it really was was the Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioch!!!!! Check out the article:

Keep voting on the poll, only a bit left. Tell me what videos you want to see on the YouTube video poll!

I found this cool article with breaking news. John Cleese has a crush on Obama! Cleese, donating $2,300 to Obama's campaign, stated that he would love to help Obama's cause. Check it out at http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2008/04/09/2008-04-09_monty_python_icon_john_cleese_stumps_to_.html. Comment on the article, I am curious to what you think! Don't forget to vote on the poll. Time is running out!
By the way, I know that Obama already won. I am not that stupid.

YouTube videos were updated and now there is The Homicidal Barber and The Lumberjack Song. Plus, there is a new picture from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Witch scene, some lovely acting...

Friday, March 13, 2009

Just another random fact I found. Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, and Eric Idle all wrote and starred in an English TV show called "Do Not Adjust Your Set." By the way, feel free to comment on my posts, because I have about two, and you all make me sad. Also, please vote on the poll! The Dead Parrot is dominating!

Here is a super cool article I found. After 30 years, Aberystwyth, a small town, is finally lifting their 30 year ban on Monty Python's Life of Brian. Terry Jones and Michael Palin will attend their first screening of the movie in this town. Here is the link to the article! http://pythonline.com/node/18373931
Tell me how you liked the Argument Clinic video!

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

If you havn't noticed already, there is a new photo up of the Argument Clinic from Flying Circus. That and the videos have been updated to show the Argument Clinic clip, (so funny...). Thanks to all the voters at the poll. There is still tons of time to vote!

Slide Show

Hey, in case you haven't noticed, there is a slide show from my favorite Monty Python movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Awesome pics, awesome scenes! Enjoy!
Good morning! Thank ye few but faithful voters on my poll (4 of you). And I now have 1 follower, and even though that follower is my friend and I asked them to become a follower, I am still very happy! Here is a random Monty Python fact for you all:

All of the members of Monty Python were part of a popular preforming society called The Footlights, except for Terry Gilliam!

He must have felt left out...
